Shopping Heaven

Went to Nepal for few weeks and had a great time. The weather was wonderful during my stay. Most of the days it was sunny. Shopping and sight seeing are some of things I love to do when I am there. Normally, people tend to visit high street shops for shopping. However, I am exactly opposite from others. Instead I visit street vendors cos I can find unique handmade stuffs in "feel good" price. Most importantly, I can haggle over the price and pay less than what the vendor has originally asked for. I managed to buy two necklaces for 1200 rupees when the vendor was actually asking that price for one necklace. This is why I call them "feel good" price. Another reason is because shopping outdoor in fresh air appeals me more than indoor shopping. I bought lots of stuff especially hand cuffs, necklace and rings. Nepal will always be my favourite place for shopping accessories and holds special place in my heart.

  1. I miss Nepal =( the alleys, the momos, newari food, and the cheap accessories you find. I second you on that, shopping from the vendors is way more fun and satisfying than at malls. That ring in the middle is a great find, never seen one like that.

    1. Tell me about it. I love shopping there. It's amazing what you can find there :)

  2. Those accessories are so pretty! :) I wish to go there too! :)
