Shopping Trip

Went out for shopping last Saturday in Oxford Street with my cousin. We had brilliant time together. Bought lots of stuffs and we were both saying "OMG I want this and that". Sometimes I wonder why on earth do we girls need to shop so much even though we have enough clothes in our closet. Unfortunately, I love shopping and can't seem to stop my shopping habits. This winter I am in love with studs and the studded clutch that I was carrying on the day is my favorite at the moment. Apart from shopping, I love good food and I am always up for trying new foods. I adore Chinese, Lebanese, Thai and Nepali food. But mind you, I'll happily tuck into other cuisine too. I can't wait for Christmas. I am already excited and looking forward to catch up with my friends and family. Have a lovely Christmas everyone. Stay happy and warm :)

Golden leaves on pavement

On pavements, golden leaves are scattered like a gold carpet and you can tell autumn has officially arrived in England. Yes, it's that time of the year to get our winter outfits ready to brace harsh and dull cold days. Decided to wear a tweed jacket as a cape with Astik Designs paisley silk top, printed trousers and white heels incorporated with traditional Nepalese silver necklace and earrings as the day was quite warm. Astik is a fashion designer based in Nepal and his designs oozes class and sophistication. The man himself is eptimote of style. Neckline with tie neck, folds to nothing in suitcase and resist to creasing is what I love about this top. Best thing is I can wear this "in and out" of work. The first day, I laid my eyes on his designs, I instantly loved his work and I am glad that I own a design of the person I admire. I love supporting the designers back home.

Shopping Heaven

Went to Nepal for few weeks and had a great time. The weather was wonderful during my stay. Most of the days it was sunny. Shopping and sight seeing are some of things I love to do when I am there. Normally, people tend to visit high street shops for shopping. However, I am exactly opposite from others. Instead I visit street vendors cos I can find unique handmade stuffs in "feel good" price. Most importantly, I can haggle over the price and pay less than what the vendor has originally asked for. I managed to buy two necklaces for 1200 rupees when the vendor was actually asking that price for one necklace. This is why I call them "feel good" price. Another reason is because shopping outdoor in fresh air appeals me more than indoor shopping. I bought lots of stuff especially hand cuffs, necklace and rings. Nepal will always be my favourite place for shopping accessories and holds special place in my heart.

A new phase of life

Graduated with Masters in Human Resources Management from Middlesex University. Now, I am entering a new phase of life with high ambition and better future prospects. Irregular Hemline

Okay the title says it all and so does the pictures. Irregular Hemline is one of the trends I am loving this season. Got this lovely dress from Oasap.com. Love the fact it not very fitting and adore the colour. It looks tailored, elegant, sharp and feminine. Decided to wear bodycon skirt underneath since the front part was quite short. The good thing about this website is that they deliver worldwide free of charge and gets delivered quite quick. Super happy tomorrow is Friday. TGIF. Have a lovely weekend xx

Light Summer Days

After few weeks of rain and cold weather, we had glorious sunshine today. I have been doing lots of DIY fashion projects lately. My facebook  and twitter followers must already know that since I have already updated there :D Bought this dress last year in winter and I was desperately waiting for summer to wear this lovely cute dress. In this pictures, apart from my eyes, I didn't wear any make-up at all. Recently, I have been getting lots of interest from people on my skin care routine. I did my hair care routine video few years ago. Seems like I need to do skin care routine video soon. I am looking forward for summer as I am getting involved with some exciting projects xx

A Day to Remember

Yesterday was a day to remember for me. I had an opportunity to model at Portsmouth Graduate Fashion Show 2012. I had brilliant time and it was fantastic experience. The fashion show was steamed live and also on big screen in Guild Hall Square, Portsmouth. This was my first experience working as model and it was quite daunting at first. However, after I hit the runway I felt comfortable and it wasn't that scary. Actually, I enjoyed it. My make-up was done quite dark in order to make me look tanned. As a result, I look super tanned in this picture which was taken after the show. I clashed two different types prints for my outfit. I am loving prints this season. Took this picture quite late in the evening, around 9pm and love the fact how light the evenings are in summer. This is one of the reasons why I love summer. Will upload the pictures from fashion show soon after I get hold of them. Cheerio :D xx

I saw this nail art picture on boohoo's facebook page and fell in love straight away. I tried to work out how this nail art was done and finally managed to do mine. Yay!! However, the fourth finger nail art design is totally different as I wanted to do three triangle. I wanted to do something different :) Love this triangle (pyramid shaped) and zigzag nail art. Might to video soon xx

Audrey Hepburn (Breakfast at Tiffany) Inspired Hairstyle

This tutorial has been inspired by Audrey Hepburn's Hairstyle from "Breakfast at Tiffany's" not "Breakfast from Tiffany's" which I said on my video by slip of tounge LOL. Please don't forget to put hairspray after you have done this hairstyle. I am not professional hairdresser. I do hairstyling as my hobby. Enjoy the video :)

Vogue Talent Event

I attended Vogue talent event on the second day of LFW in Italian Cultural Institute. The event brought together different emerging designers. It was such a crowded place but it was amazing opportunity to network and socialise with people. Unlike LFW, I noticed that they had created great platform for different types of designers from hat, bags and clothes to jewellery designer. It was indeed splendid, the way everything was presented, top class.
