LonDon Clothes Show

London Clothes Show which was held from 25th June to 27th June on Earls court, London left me with mixed feelings. I had a fab time but I had expected quite a lot and I have to say I was disappointed by some of the stuffs in the show. They had loads of clothes, makeup and beauty, photography and heena painting shops. They had style stage, Martini lounge, champange and cocktail bar.

Outside the venue....Earls court, London

The venue was not too far from station. It was easier to find as it was just opposite to train station and also very easy to travel. It's not too far from London waterloo. Also inside it was very big and spacious. That is why they had over 100 shops inside. It was also easier to walk from one stall to another. So, big thumbs up for the venue.

Yes, London is definitely Capital of Fashion

London clothes show live sold two types of tickes i.e; standard  £28 and platinum £40. I bought platinum tickets which promised a goody bag, dedicated front seat at fashion show and fast track access to fashion show. The place where we sat wasn't too far from stage so it was fine but I was so disappointed with the goody bag. All they had inside the bag was bottle of water, chocolate, some mini samples which you can find these days in any fashion magazines. I bet that stuffs inside the bag probably didn't even cost £5. I am not saying they got to have branded stuffs but if we paid so much for tickets then why can't they at least try to put some good stuff which people would be able to use and will be like souvenir.

My goody Bag but had loads of crappy stuffs inside..so disappointed

The best part of the show was fashion show and dance in the fashion theatre. Models were walking down with autum/winter clothes and dancers performing in between to keep show going on. In my opinion, dance was actually better than the fashion show as it was very creative, lively and energetic. It is nice to see beautiful models walking down the ramp with beautiful clothes but I have to say it can get bit boring if it's just models walking down the stage all the time. I have to say those dancers did lot better jobs than the models as they were trying their best to keep us interested and fill us with excitment and energy.

Models walking down the ramp...

Best part of the show..Fit dancers especially men..girls don't miss out Next year!!

Me and My Bestie Jan...We had loads of Fun

Also I have to say the food they were selling inside wasn't that great. We bought two noodles and it cost us nearly £7 and it was quite small. Two noodles and one coke cost us £16. It was very expensive. It doesn't matter if it is expensive but I was so annoyed it tasted so bad that I couldn't eat at all. You can get full meal or lunch for less than that amount of money outside. I was amazed with that type of food they were selling. Hope they will improve next year. Jan and I had a nice luch outside for £19 pounds. See the difference, we spent just £3 more outside and we got good food. I don't mind paying more if the food is good. I think most of the people agree with me in this case. Apart from food and goody bag we have fab time.

Clothing Shops..looks very cute and girly ...love the decorations..

Bargain Eyelashes...

I found eyelashes on bargain yesterday and I am so pleased with myself that I spotted such a good bargain. It has got five different eyelashes and also comes with re-sealable adhesive as well. Can you guess the price of these eyelashes? I bet you will get it wrong. It cost £6.99. Yes, its very cheap as just one eyelash cost above £5 pounds in drugstores. So, I was super pleased with myself that I spotted such a good bargain (5 eyelashes for £6.99)

Six Eyelashes for £6.99..OMG That's very a Good bargain..Yay!!

You can buy this product from TKMaxx. I normally don't shop in TKMaxx but from now on I will  try to hunt some more bargains. You never know I might end up getting some more good bargains. The name of company who made this eyelashes  is Active cosmetics. To be honest, I have never heard of this brand before. But after using this product I must say these eyelashes are very good and sticks properly. There is a clear instruction on the back about applying eyelashes. You will know when to apply this eyelashes on your eyes as the glue turns from white/clear colour to blue and from that you will know it has become tacky and ready to apply. People have perception that only expensive products works well and quality is better. But some of the cheap products are actually better than the expensive one.

Back cover ...Comes with instruction on how to apply

Happy shopping.....Say H-E-L-L-O to beautiful eyes with Active cosmetics eyelashes!!

TRESemme Shampoo Review ...Don't Buy Me...

Tresemme vitamin c deep cleansing shampoo promises it's gentle enough for daily use, as it won't dry hair out but will add much-needed moisture for the healthy, soft hair you crave. I have used this shampoo before but it has let me down. It doesn't work well at all for greasy hair and i have greasy hair. I have to wash my hair everyday as it gets greasy and oily fast. So, thought this might be the best shampoo for me. But I didn't know this was wrong product for me until I used this product.

The most surprising thing is this shampoo states that it  is for all hair types and removes heavy waxes, pomades, creams, sprays, etc. I am not sure if it works for other hair types but it definitely does not work for greasy hair.  Though the shampoo lather up very nicely, easy to massage around the head and they wash out easily it didnot make much difference. My hair looked still greasy like it did before washing. I was so embrassed to go out with my greasy hair. It looked like I haven't washed for days though i washed my hair first thing in the morning. I used this product for couple of days then I just gave up and chuck them away in bin which is the right place for this product. All the money I paid for this product has been waste. Yes, it's cheap (£3.99 in Boots for 500ml and supermarkets stock 900ml bottles) and comes in large bottles. It smells great and feels good when you're using it, but there are other products in the same price range, which in my opinion are a lot better.

It's such a good brand but to be honest it has disappointed me. Since, then I haven't used their shampoo at all. I am never ever going to use their shampoo and  neither conditioner. I am not sure how many people agree with me but I am just writing to let you how much this product has disappointed me and think twice before you yourself buy this product. If you have been satisfied or disappointed by this product please feel free to write your comments in this blog. Either of your comments are most welcome. I would love to hear your views and enjoy the summer and sunshine while it last. Cheerio!!

Clinique Super City Block

Clinique super city block sunscreen cream has SPF 40 ultra protection plus boosted level of antioxidants and  is oil-free face protector. It promises that it will protect skin from damaging UVA/UVB rays, protects from environmental aggressors and ability to hold makeup in place, making it last longer.

Sunscreen should be applied every day to exposed skin, and not just if you are going to be in the sun.  Even on a cloudy day, up to 80 percent of the sun's ultraviolet rays can pass through the clouds. Sunlight consists of two types of harmful rays; ultraviolet A (UVA) rays and ultraviolet B (UVB) rays. UVA rays are the aging rays and UVB rays are the burning rays. Sunscreen plays an intergal part in prevention of premature aging and skin cancer.

I bought this sunscreen couple of months ago for daily use. It has worked well like they have promised. I even use this as a base for my foundation and its not greasy at all. It is sheer and absorbs quickly. Also when i used this sunscreen as a base for my make up it hold my make up longer. I used L'oreal solar expertise sunscreen before but i didn't like it at all.  After two days of application I had to bin that sunscreen. My face looked so greasy after application and also left white streak on my face. I thought L'oreal probably would have good sunscreen because of their brand but it has let me down. I will never use their sunscreen again in my life.

Sunscreen should be applied before 15 to 30 mins before going outdoors to get maximum protection. Ideally, sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher provides broad-spectrum coverage against both UVA and UVB light. So, when you are buying one always go for higher SPF. The higher SPF, the better protection for your skin!!

Avon Illuminating Face Pearls

Avon's IIuminating face pearls are one of the best bronzing pearls i have came across. I normally don't buy their products but this product has really suprised me. The quality is amazing and gives you healthy looking glow. This pearls comes with a mixture of light to more darker coloured pearls that gives your skin a shimmer and tanned look without being too glittery or dark.

This product cost £8.50 and you can buy this online (avonshop.co.uk) or through avon representative. They normally have loads of offers and sale. You can get this product for £5 when there is sale. So, look out for Avon sale if you want to save some money.

You can use this pearls instead of blusher and apply them using larger brush so that you will only get the right amount of dust from the pearls and don't end up look too much overdone. You can use this product everyday to work, college etc. It is quite light so it does not look too powdery and cakey. I also love their another product Arabian Glow Bronzing Pearls which is quite simillar to this product but that one is for bit more tanned look. The pearls are brown and i will do the review soon on that one too. I would recommend this product to everyone. Sometimes, cheaper product works better and has good quality than expensive ones. We should never underestimate cheap products.  Say HELLO to healthy looking glow by using this product. on your face. Cheerio!!
